Zombie Love Story
First and foremost I would like to thank Netgalley and Fido Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.
I was initially drawn to this book because it sounded original. Not very often do you read about zombie romances. From the very beginning I knew I loved the writing style. I really liked the way that the point of views were done, 1st person for the main character and 3rd person when Evan was being written about. I loved the 1st person point of view because I got to be inside a zombie's head, I think that this was done very well. You were often thrown into disarray as Sadie didn't know what was going on. This aspect made the story come to life.
This story had a good amount of both the suspense factor and the romance factor. Knowing that Cerys du Lys was primarily a romance author I was afraid that the romance would overshadow the storyline. I think that she did a good job balancing both aspects of the story. I think I would have liked one more action scene though.
